An 87-inch augmented reality head-up display dominates the driver’s view, projecting navigation and driving data directly onto the windshield. A central infotainment screen is mounted on a tilting panel that angles toward the driver, enhancing usability and immersion.

The sporty three-spoke steering wheel features AMG-style dials for quick mode changes, while ambient lighting and capacitive touch pads on the door panels offer customizable controls for everything from seat ventilation to glove box access. Bucket-style sport seats with active side bolsters inflate during cornering, keeping the driver firmly in place—a feature borrowed from high-end German performance sedans.

Under the hood—or rather, beneath the floor—the P7 offers two battery options: a 74.9 kWh pack and a larger 92.92 kWh version. The base rear-wheel-drive model delivers 362 hp (270 kW), while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant cranks out a staggering 586 hp (437 kW), launching the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.

Range anxiety? Not here. The long-range RWD version boasts up to 820 km (509 miles) on a single charge, while the AWD model still delivers an impressive 750 km (466 miles). And thanks to Xpeng’s 5C ultra-fast charging, just 10 minutes at a compatible station can add up to 512 km of range3. That’s not just fast—it’s game-changing.

Xpeng isn’t just building cars—it’s building ecosystems. The P7 is powered by three of Xpeng’s proprietary Turing AI chips, alongside a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor. This hardware supports advanced driver-assistance features and lays the groundwork for Level 4 autonomous driving, which Xpeng plans to roll out in China by 20264.

The car’s vision-only Navigation Guided Pilot (NGP) system uses integrated side-view cameras and AI-powered algorithms to navigate complex urban environments. With over-the-air updates promised, the P7 is designed to get smarter over time—just like your smartphone.

💰 Value That Disrupts the Market

Despite its premium features, the P7 is priced aggressively. In China, it starts at around ¥219,800 (approximately $30,200) and tops out at ¥301,800 (around $41,500). That’s a fraction of what you’d pay for a similarly specced Tesla or BMW, making the P7 a serious contender in the global EV market.

Xpeng hasn’t confirmed European launch dates yet, but the car’s debut at the Munich Motor Show suggests international expansion is imminent. With its combination of style, substance, and smarts, the P7 could be the sedan that finally breaks the Western dominance in premium EVs.
